{ Vendor Feature: Amberly at Structure Hair Studio }

Meet Amberly Enich from Structure Studio in Dahlonega Georgia!

Amberly's passion for all things hair and makeup began at a very young age. Her Aunt, a stylist herself, had encouraged Amberly to explore the solon industry. At age 16 she knew without a doubt that becoming a stylist is what she wanted to do.

During high school Amberly began her career by becoming an apprentice at a solon. For many years she worked alongside several stylists as an assistant and eventually, when she was old enough, continued pursuing her dreams by enrolling in cosmetology school. After cosmetology school, Amberly went on to become a full time stylist at Structure Hair Studio where she has now been for over eleven years.

Amberly began bridal styling over ten years ago when there were just a few local venues. After gaining the trust and recommendations of these local venues, (which include our venues: The Walters Barn, Willow Creek Farm, and The Chair Factory Gainesville), Amberly has become a preferred stylist and one we recommend often.

When asked, "What is something you want potential brides to know?" Amberly replied, " I do not take lightly the trust that brides put in me. In my opinion, your hair and makeup artist should be your third vendor you book. First, you need your venue, because this will set the tone for your wedding day as well as give you your date. Second, your photographer. They’re going to capture the love and joy of the day for you to cherish forever. And thirdly, you need your bridal stylist. Because without us, you won’t FEEL as beautiful as you are and if you don’t feel beautiful, then the venue, the photos, the flowers, your cake, nothing else matters unless you radiate your beauty from the inside out. Wether that be myself or someone else who has a knowledge of bridal styling. Not just any stylist can do bridal. You can be an amazing colorist or innovative in all the latest cutting techniques but have no true skill for formal styling and airbrush."

How does Amberly ensure that you are getting exactly what you want for your big day? Amberly require trials. She thinks, "they are so important for the both [myself and the bride] to understand exactly what we want to do on the wedding day, and for what we want to improve upon. I always like to be sure brides know that a trial is for “trial and error”, where we do what we think we would like, but have room to make changes to perfect it. It is not to be considered a “try out” for your stylist. The trial is typically done only a couple of months before the wedding, so you need to use your best judgment, look a previous work and research reviews to be sure of your bridal stylist much before the trial date."
