Hannah + Josh had their ceremony at Holly Springs Baptist Church and their reception here at The Walters Barn this past June. What an incredibly sweet couple with a story to match it! Continue reading to see their backstory, their Big Day, & more gorgeous photos!

" We met greeting at Free Chapel! It was his second week, and my first week. When the lead greeter introduced us, there was an instant connection. From that moment on, we each knew we had found our “person”. After that, we would just say hi to each other at church, nothing more. But one Wednesday night, the lead greeter sent a text out to all the greeters, letting us know we were greeting that night. I knew Josh’s phone number was in the group text, so I responded, “Thanks for letting us know! -Hannah”. Well Josh saw that and responded with his name. Later that night, he texted me separately, and we haven’t stopped talking since! We have been together since January of 2018! "

- The Proposal Story -

" He always told me he wanted it to be a surprise, so we didn’t go ring shopping at all. At the Christmas production at church, he made sure to tell all of our families and friends he was proposing after! The church has several props around the lobby for people to take pictures. As we all walked over to the the spot where we first met, he had a photographer ask us “to take a picture for the church website,”so we did! At that moment, he got down and proposed! It was the easiest 'yes'! "

How was the planning process for your wedding day?

" Amazing!!! I always heard that wedding planning can be stressful, and hectic. Allison, and the Soirees team, did everything they could to make sure that didn’t happen. She was always available to answer texts or calls! Whenever my friends get engaged, I always recommend the Soirées team! "

What are your thoughts about your wedding day?

" It was everything I had dreamed, and more. Everything went smooth, and we both enjoyed every second. We never worried about a single detail of the wedding! We were able to sit back and enjoy “us”. Multiple people told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! "

What is your favorite thing about being married?

" Our favorite thing is being able to see each other everyday! We are able to experience every happy, funny, exciting, and sometimes sad, moment together! We are constantly laughing at something, which makes life more exciting! We recently got a puppy for Christmas, and she is the apple of our eye! We love our Millie Mae! "
