The Walters Barn - April 13, 2019
Samantha and Mathieu were married on a gorgeous April day at The Walters Barn! I had the pleasure of getting to work with this precious couple and their families on their big day and man oh man, they were some of the sweetest people I have worked with thus far! From the moment I met them, they were always so kind and fun to be around! Both of their families were very involved in the planning process and I loved being able to get to know them in addition to Samantha and Mathieu!
Samantha and Mathieu were High School sweethearts and continued their relationship at UGA where they both attended college! Shortly after graduating Matheiu popped the question and Samantha said YES! Their families had known for a while that these two were the real deal and were just waiting for the day when the two would tie the knot!
On their big day they were both filled with such excitement and just a little bit of nerves, this had been a long time coming! Most people don’t actually end up marrying their high school sweetheart, but here they were all these years later and you could just feel the Joy and love their shared!
We had the pleasure of doing the florals and decor for their special day and man, were we in love with their color palette! Samantha’s bridesmaids were the most beautiful shade of pink/purple that paired perfectly with the guys dashing navy suits! Their florals were stunning and had just the perfect touch of color paired with mostly white flowers and greenery! One of my favorite touches was the cloth wrapped around Samantha’s bouquet! It was actually the pocket square Matheiu had worn to their prom in high school and was the prefect piece for her something borrowed, old, and blue!
When they were finally married, you could just see the excitement on their faces as they came back down the aisle! They had been waiting years for this day and here they were as Husband and Wife!
The rest of the night was a joyous celebration of two people who fell madly in love and they left heading into their happily ever after!
